Business in the British Virgin Islands
Home > Business in the BVI

The British Virgin Islands have many varying services from tourist industry companies, international off shore banking and law firm communities, real estate and home building, photography, marketing, design and much more. The BVI enjoys a very stable economy with little or no unemployment, which represents what all Caribbean nations wish to be.

Helpful hint(s): The horn is mainly used to greet or acknowledge a friend.
In the BVI, the horn is mainly used to greet or acknowledge friends usually drivers are not asking you to move or get out of the way as they normally would do in other countries. However, if you are on a stretch of road (where it would be safe to assume they are not hailing a friend), they are letting you know that they are behind you and intend to pass so as not to take you by surprise.
